I have a few blog posts planned, but you won't be getting them today....or tomorrow. You just get a list.
I have strep throat (gag)
I hate healthcare in this state
I sure hope we find good doctors in Cheyenne
Clint deleted my header picture, and I am not exactly sure how to get it back
If you could say a little prayer that we get an offer on our house in the next 16 days, I'd really appreciate it.
Yes, you read that right, we pull out in 16 days, I sure hope the penicillin makes me feel better soon, I have boxes to pack.
Thanks for pointing out that my picture is fixed. Clint had sympathy for me since I feel so crummy. You can read about it here.

Long car ride help.......
We've not done a LONG car trip with the kids in quite some time. With the move coming up, we'll have 3 days of non-stop driving. We'll have the moving truck and the SUV. Clint will drive the moving truck and take one kid with him. I'll have the SUV and one kid with me. The kids have always been good travelers, and I have some things to keep them entertained, but if you have a secret weapon that works well for you, would you please share it? I'd like to have some new things/surprises to give them in addition to our old reliables.
This list is mostly for me to remember (I imagine in 3 weeks I'll be a moving zombie):
Color by number/letter
Wikki stix
Dot to dots
Kindergarten workbook (Emery)
Preschool workbook (Chani)
Small happy meal type toys (handed out one at a time)
Movies (Dora, the only thing Chani will watch) + headphones
Books on CD
Books to read (a few new ones)
Lots of snacks
The first.......
of many.
This is the first box I've filled, labeled, and taped shut. (Clint's already filled a couple with toys that the kids haven't been picking up at the end of each day.) I really hate packing and unpacking, but we're so excited for Cheyenne!

Emeryism
We were having family scripture study the other night and Emery was reading his verse. He came to the word "than" and sounded it out "th-a-hey, they changed it!" He was expecting the word THAT. It was pretty cute, and Clint and I had a good chuckle.

Rice krispies
Chani had rice krispies for breakfast this morning. Emery said, "They say smackle crack, pop!"

Creative couple....
I read Yahoo News when I check my e-mail, just to try and keep up, since we only have two channels and we hardly ever watch the news. I was surprised to see a face I know (in person) in an article there today. I worked at said Catering Center while in high school. The bride's mother was my boss, and in fact, made my wedding cake too. The bride's sister was my debate partner in high school and one fun weekend in college too. I spent more than one weekend night hanging out at the Parrish house, raiding the fridge and watching crazy boys jump over flaming couches. Good times! Clever couple, I hope they have a wonderful wedding!
