Reasons I love my family

I was sitting here this morning thinking of all the reasons I love my family and I just have to share!

CHANI
1. She slept from 7 PM until 5 AM this morning, there is hope!
2. When I went to check on Chani in her crib this morning, she was laying on her tummy with her eyes open, and when I bent down to catch her eyesight, she just grinned, without moving, watching me and grinning bigger and bigger.
3. Chani can sit up like a champ and loves to play with her brothers trucks (yes, Blake, play!)
4. When Chani grins, her whole face lights up!
5. Despite her slow growing hair, she's girly in every way.

EMERY
1. Emery spent half of the morning pulling a car back on the table and watching it race forward and launch off the end of the table.
2. The other half of the morning has been spent inside a large box at the front desk, just laying inside it playing cars.
3. Emery had discovered knock knock jokes and loves to tell them on the phone and then giggle infectiously.
4. Despite looking like his dad in every way, Emery has my love of bananas.....with peanut butter.
5. He wanders around missing people, "Elaine (the custodian in our building) where are you?" "Luke (he babysits on Tuesday) where are you?" "Daddy (in his office) where are you?"

CLINT
1. Working so hard on his thesis writing
2. Making numerous trips to Scottsbluff and then counting aphids hours on end to get the research for the thesis.
3. Forgoing an appointment to replace a filling that came out last week because he needs to be writing that thesis.
4. Being swamped in his office all day and still coming home to play with the kids before bed.
5. Helping his wife do the dishes after dinner!

I am so lucky!
