Clint graduated on Saturday. He was also asked to say the opening "moment of reflection" and chose to say a prayer. It was a very neat opportunity. Emery sat very well and Chani fell asleep part way through, so it wasn't even painful. It does help that we've been having church in the same auditorium while they've been working on the addition/renovation of our building (which should be done in less than a month). Emery loved clapping and cheering and said "whooo-hoooo" for every candidate.
I have to add one cool thing. Clint's advisor (seen behind him, doing the "hooding") Dr. Lawson, is retiring this year. He's never advised a graduate student and never hooded anyone before Clint. Clint was his first and only, during his final year before retirement.
