Alright folks, here it is.
These are regular sized adult bath towels embellished with ribbon and a hood added. These are great for brand new infants up to about 4-5 years old. This picture is not fantastic, this towel is not such a fire engine red, it is darker....I couldn't find a true red at the stores I was looking at.
These nursing covers are two layers of fabric (as you can see from the pictures) lightweight, 100% cotton. There is a strip of boning in the top of the cover and the strap goes over your head. You can see under the cover but no one else can. It's very handy for nursing in public or for when you have company. It sure beats having the blanket over your head, or fighting to keep the baby from pulling the blanket down.

Each nursing cover has a embroidered stitch around the outside edge.
If you've never seen how a nursing cover works, here is a picture (not a great one, my wiggly 10 month old was not cooperating with all of the excitement going on. This nursing cover is not one that is being offered in the giveaway.
To be eligible you need to leave me a comment on this blog telling me: what you would pay for a hooded towel like this, what you would pay for a nursing cover similar to this, and don't forget to tell me who you are. Additional entries into the drawing will be offered for people who link to their blog. Tell me who sent you, please! And, I'm looking for a blog title to start selling these. If you have a suggestion and I pick it, you'll earn another entry. The winner will be able to pick either the towel or one of the two nursing covers. The giveaway will be open for one week, closing on Wednesday, September 3 at 7:00 PM. Cheers!

Ooh! I'm first! Yay!
For the hooded towel, I would pay $15, and for the nursing blankets, I would pay $12-15. Because I'm cheap like that, and not because I wouldn't think they should warrant a higher cost. Capische?
Title for the blog:
Wrap Me Up
or
Snug as a Bug
or
Jill's Super Special Hooded Towels and Nursing Blankets!
(okay, just kidding on that last one).
:)
Well, first of all - YOU sent me here silly!!! :-) I'll link people back to your blog as well.
Secondly, I would pay about $20 for the towels and maybe $12 for the covers.
Hmmm, as for a name suggestion:
*SNUGGLIE COVERS
Hi Jill,
I think it is cool you are doing a give away. I think another cool thing to make would be those carseat covers. I thought that looked great! For the towel I think the price should be about $10-12. Another thing that would work with it would be a matching wash cloth. You know, so people could give it as a set. The nursing blankets are really cool, I remember you talking about them a while ago. You could charge a bit more like $15-18, and maybe even have it be monogramed or a baby's name on it. I think some good blog names could be: Mommy and Me, Loved by Mommy, Baby Happy, Snuggle bug, Button-up Baby, Baby Loves. I don't know, I hope that gets you started. Good Luck! I LOVE those nursing blankets! They are fab!
Hey Jill. So for those towels I would pay $10-12. I think they are awesome. I seriously need to learn to sew to learn to make those. For the nursing blankets I would say $25-30 just because I know of a lot of moms here in Vegas that bought some for at least $35. I really like the idea of having a baby's name on it. That would be really cute.
Adorable stuff! You are way talented! Emily sent me for Rockin' Shorty Hairstyles.
Let's see-for the hooded towel I would pay about $10. And for the nursing cover (which I could really use in a few months!! ;))I would pay $20 for those.
For names I would say Close To My Heart or Snuggly Wraps, or Cute and Cuddly Coverups. Good luck!!
I had another idea in the shower this am....funny huh!!
Huggable Hoodies
Bama Girl Diaries, Kristi sent me on over here. I love hooded towels on little children and babies. You are way talented!
I would pay about $15 for the towel, but don't really know a price for the cover up. (I am an adoptive parent and have never been preggers so I have never shopped for the cover up thingy.)
As for a name, I suggest Snuggle Bunnies.

Hey Jill, how funny, I linked on my blog and forgot to leave a comment! Oops.
I love the nursing cover so much. So. Much! I would totally pay $25 for one now that I know how great they are. How did I live without them with the other 3?
The towels I'd pay $15 for.
Title...hmmmm...I'm not good at these sorts of things.
How about SnuggleMe?
Rockinshorthairstyles sent me!
The towel i'd pay $15 for, the nursing cover i'd pay $20 for.

I love the nursing cover. i've been wanting ot make one or try one for a while now but just never have gotten around to it. I'd say i'd pay about 15-25 for one. would totally depend on the fabric.
and then for the towels i'd do 10-15 depending on how much you put on it like embelishments and stuff. I've also seen the poncho style hooded towels which i think are really nice i'd proably pay a little more for one of them. i believe i have the directions for those too you can email me if you want.
as for the title what about

Rockin short styles sent me too!!
For the hooded towell I probably would not spend more than $10, the nursing blanket (is SO COOL!! i have never seen one..and I have 5 kids), I would be willing to pay no more than $20...but the $12-$15would be more likely at what I would spend.
Names....Under Cover, Snuggle Cover, Duk'n'cover....I kinda like that one 'cuz you have to duk under it then your covered...maybe some of these names are already suggested. Hope I win it...really so neat! If I don't win I'd like to buy one..I linked you to my blog! my blog korylisaallredfamily.blogspot.com
thanks
I came to your site via Bamagirl's site!
For cute towels, i would pay $15-$20 and the nursing covers, i would pay $10-$15. Of course, for a nicer towel or fabric, i would maybe pay more.
ummm, names for a new site? Cuddle Me Baby? LOL, i'm not too creative! :)
Jill,
What a great idea! I love the towels. I probably would pay $12-15for the towels. If they had a wash cloth to go with them I would pay $15-18 for them. Than for the nursing covers I would pay $20-25 for them. As far as names go I am horrible with coming up with names. I would say Snugle Bugs or something like that. Good luck with your giveway!!
I love the hooded towel. Especially if it had the childs name on it. I would pay $15.00 for it. The nursing cover is great! Probably pay $20.00 for that! I found you on a hair blog! I will for sure link you to my page. As for a name...I like "snuggle bugs".
Emily from Rockinshorthairstyles sent me. As far as the nursing cover ups go . . . they remind me of hooter hiders which retail for around $35. So, if I were you, I would shoot for the $20-$25 dollar range for those. And by the way—they totally rock. How did I get by without one before? As for the towels, I would pay about $10 for one. My kids really like them. And I am not very creative so the only name I can think of is cuddle baby. Good Luck.
Hey, I got referred from Julie Allen's blog. I love the nursing covers. I'd probably pay between $12 and $15 for one. The towel is adorable. I'd pay $15 for it too. Great work! I envy people with that sort of talent!
Oh yea.. my name is Carrie. You can check out my blog at makeitcountmorris.blogspot.com
Oh, I think I'd pay about $15-20 for each item. Brittany had a great idea with the matching washcloth - I think lots of people would go for a set for gifts & stuff. A name, a name.... I'll get back to you on that one.
Ok - got one (thought of it at 1:30 a.m. while I was tossing & turning.) Sew Snuggly
Hi. I think I came from Rockin'Shorty Hairstyles. In response to your query--have you heard of Etsy? If not, check it out at www.etsy.com
There are people on there that sell the hooded towels (I looked and prices range from $17.50-$35) and the nursing covers. They have very minimal fees ($0.20 to list an item for 3 months I think) and they already have a community set up. I have a store on there (www.tagyouareit.etsy.com) and have made almost 60 sales since March--and I have taken some breaks.
I just thought I would throw that out for you as an option. Good luck with your adventure!
(I would also search the internets before you pick a name--you don't want to use someone else's name by accident.)
I would pay about $12 for the towel and about $15 for the nursing cover. They are super cute, too bad I'm done nursing babies!! It would be an amazing gift for my sister, though!!
Keep up the good work!!
I'd pay 10 to 12 for the hooded towel although I really think they are priceless! I'm an adoptive parent so I wouldn't know what to charge for the nursing cover, but they look cool.
Name for blog: what about "wrapped in love"?
Becky
Hi there. I came to your blog two ways, through Rockin' Short Hairstyles and also through The Life and Loves of Brittany. I've also put a link to you from my blog. Very cute stuff. I'd say $18 for the towels and $15 for the cover-ups. But I always buy more if I get a deal so if it's priced $18 each but TWO FOR $30 OR $15 each, but TWO FOR $25--then I always go for the deal to feel better about spending money. :) Just an idea.
Sorry for the massive alliteration on possible post names, but I was trying to think of memorable titles. And I agree with the poster who suggested you double-check the name all over the internet in case it's already been copyrighted or something.
Here's my quick-think list:
snuggly snacker
fashion feeder
private punkin
nestled nibbler
bosom bundle
nestled nurser
modest mommy
peaceful papoose
tranquil tot
bosom baby
honey hugger OR
hungry hugger

I would say about 15 for the towel and 20-25 for the nursing cover without having the name on it
I just bought a nursing cover and paid $25 including shiping and handling. I thought it was a deal, all the ones I've found online were $35 - $40 without shiping. Julie sent me so if I win, give it to her!
I know this is over but I just wanted to say DANG! Where were you when I was nursing. I think my dad, brothers, and neighbors got way too many free shows!
