Last Thursday morning, Clint was on facebook before work. Our sister-in-law, Desiree started chatting with Clint. Clint knew right away that it probably wasn't her, and when she started asking for $1500 because she had been mugged in Europe, he knew for sure. She and Jason (Clint's brother) are coming to visit in 3 weeks (YAY!!). After discussing it with Clint, we think it's best to leave facebook. We're pretty tight with our privacy, but facebook keeps loosening privacy controls. In addition, whoever hacked Desiree's account now has all our information because she is a friend.
In addition to the privacy issues, I could waste the entire day on facebook. I could neglect my kids and let them watch endless hours of movies while I look at everyone's pictures and reply to status updates. I need some more organization in my life and facebook makes it easy to stay disorganized.
I think that my blog will be more updated as well. Wish me luck!

You're awesome.
Jon and I are thinking of the same thing. Mainly because we do waste too much time on there.
That makes me feel bad. I agree with you though, I don't think I will start a new account after what happened!
