Emery: Spiderman is not real.
A: (Crying) Yes he is. He is too real.
Emery: No he's not. He's just pretend.
A: But they made a movie about him.
Me: Not everyone in the movies is real. A lot of the time, the movies are just pretend.
Emery: Mom, I know a movie that's really real.
Me: What's that, Emery?
Emery: General Conference.

Awwwwww, you're really teaching them well!
I go back and forth between wanting Brigham to know that Batman isn't real and wanting to hang on to that childlike innocence. He gets pretty mixed signals from me. :)
