We've started being more consistent with Family Home Evening. During the school year, Clint teaches night class on Monday night, so we've not been able to get ourselves together. But, now that summer is here, we're trying to be better. The kids LOVE it, and ask every day if it's family home evening day. I hope that part lasts. Part of the love might be due to their dad.
Clint's been on treats for the past two weeks, and the truth is, he's done a fantastic job. So good, in fact, he told me there's no way I can top it. Well, that comes off as a bit of a challenge, so now I need your help. Here's what we've had most recently.
The week before, he did S'mores in the microwave. The kids liked these so well we had them the next day for a snack.
So, I need help. But, there's one more tiny detail. Clint's not a fan of breaded sweets, so that pretty much puts the kabosh on cake, cookies, pie, tortes, trifles, you know, basically all the good stuff. What can I do?

We always like root beer floats (or purple cows with grape soda). Also have you tried dessert sushi? You use rice krispie treats as the filling with dried fruit in the middle, and then wrap it with a fruit roll-up. Just google dessert sushi and you get a whole bunch of stuff. The kiddos loved them.
chocolate covered strawberries
pudding cups with whipped cream from a can on top
Dirt! Choc. pudding with ground up oreos...topped with a gummy worm and a cute flower. You can either do a candy flower or make one out of paper and throw it on top! My kids LOVE these!
The pioneer woman has a fun recipe for dirt, she used mint ice cream and oreo and put it in cute little flower pots you can make it as fancy or casual as you want.
Yeah, I'm a failure in this department, but it looks like you've got some fun ideas!
home made ice cream in a bag so they can add whatever flavor they want. By the way when are you coming to Idaho?
