Talk Radio

About a year ago, Clint taught the kids about the snooze radio button on the alarm clock.  The kids loved the idea of drifting off to sleep to some music. 

For the past little while, Emery has been having a hard time following the bedtime rules, i.e. only reading (no lego's or other toys), soft radio only.  A couple of nights ago, I caught him at 9:30 with the radio on full blast, and it was talk radio.  So, after a night of sleeping with the girls (so I could monitor him better) and a night of no radio, Clint went down tonight to tuck him in.  He asked Emery if he wanted to read or listen to the radio.  Emery picked radio, so Clint turned it on.  Rush Limbaugh was talking.  Clint asked why Emery was listening to that, and Emery said, "It's the only thing on the radio, dad."  Sure enough, every AM station on the dial was Rush.  Clint flipped the switch to FM (still not sure how it got flipped in the first place) and found him some music to listen to.

I wonder how long my son has been being indoctrinated......
