M&M Trees

Our ward is very small, and so to help with visiting teaching and home teaching, they have pared Clint and I together to visit our families. So, yesterday afternoon, we took our kids to visit. We went to the Ricks', who are a sweet older couple who always treat us so nicely. There was a small dish of M&M's on the table. When we left, they let Emery and Chani each take a little baggie with them. Emery announced in the car that he was going to take some of his and plant them in the back yard so that we could have an M&M tree. We asked how long that might take, and he said 4 years. Clint asked if we planted a red M, what color M's would grow on the tree. Emery replied, "No one knows for sure." We may never know for sure, when we got home, all the M&M's were gone.
