It was sort of a rotten Easter Weekend for us. I woke up Saturday morning with strep throat, so off to Instant Care I went. When I got home, we dyed some eggs and I took a nap. While I was napping Chani rode her bike (now without training wheels, but that's another post) right off the front porch. She was lucky to only have a bloody knee instead of a broken leg.
Sunday morning the kids woke up to baskets and hidden eggs. Clint convinced Emery that his hollow chocolate bunny was really a vehicle for milk (it would be chocolaty he said) but it wasn't that chocolaty, it was just messy. Both kids got a little Lego set (yay for girl legos) and some bubbles and sidewalk chalk.
Sunday afternoon, right before church, Clint was struck with the stomach flu. The kids and I loaded up for Church and we were nearly there when Emery said, "I think I'm going to puke." So, we returned home where I deposited him in the care of his sick dad. Church was lovely (except for being 10 minutes late). After church, we returned home to a still sick dad, and a perfectly fine and healthy Emery. Our friends had invited us for dinner and an egg hunt, so I took Emery and the girls to that. It was so nice (but we missed our dad). Thanks for the fun time Waddell Family!
Because of the sickness, there is only one picture of new Easter clothes. Saya and Chani have matching skirts and sweaters in pink and purple. I also made a new skirt, and on the next nice Saturday or Sunday, we'll do some make up Easter pictures.

I'm sorry for the sickness, I'm glad you still got to have an enjoyable Easter.
Looks like a fun Easter, except for the getting sick part! You got some really cute pictures of the kids! We love and miss you guys!
